Climatic variations and recent trends of ENSO in the formation of Cyclonic Systems over the BoB, Arabian Sea and Land- Study
Abstract
In the present study, an investigator has emphasised finding out the impact of the southern oscillation in the formation of the number of cyclonic circulations (Cyclonic Disturbances, Cyclone & Severe Cyclonic Strom) over BoB, the Arabian Sea and Land and its tendency. The concerned data for the year 1965-2022 was categorised and tabulated in the form of El-Nino, La-Nina and other years. The formation of cyclonic systems over the BoB & the Arabian Sea during the El Nino, La Nina and other years has been seen as significant; whereas, it has been observed as non-significant during El Nino & La Nino years over the BoB and the Arabian Sea. The Cyclonic Systems formed over the Arabian Sea have been seen as more variable and less stable. The activities of the formation of cyclonic systems during the El-Nino years have been seen more than in the La-Nina years, and the Arabian Sea was found to active than the BoB. The outcomes of the study would be useful to the concerned
